Description Suggest change

Situated high above the road on the east side of No Name Canyon are towering walls of quartzite. While much of the rock is of dubious quality, there is great potential for the adventurous.

Getting There Suggest change

Any number of routes can be taken up the large talus fields that meet the road just a short hike from the trailhead. The best option for a route like Trojan Horse is to start on the far left (upcanyon) of the large talus field meeting the road. Hike/scramble a short distance on the talus, and go left again through some scrub oak to access another talus field. The talus will eventually peter out and you can scramble on dirt and granite slabs to the base of the quartzite.
