Description

Nephele is a medium-sized boulder with several boulder problems. There may be potential on the low north side, but the real draw with this one lies with the overhanging south face. Rock quality is highly variable, some areas are complete choss while others are very solid. Landings are flat and clear.

Getting There

It is located at the Blue Moon area. From the green gate parking area for Mecca, head downhill, cross East Creek, head uphill, make a right on the dirt track, follow it for about 5 minutes, make a right at a shallow wash, and head toward the rock-filled draw. Reference the page map for the precise location.
