Description

This rarely climbed area has 5-6 slab routes. All of the climbs are single pitch and mostly sport/bolted. There are a few spots in between bolts where a cam may be placed. The majority of the routes are 100' or less.

There are two sets of anchor bolts at the top of the slab. All bolts/hangers are in good shape (as of 6/2015).

Getting There

The routes are roughly a 10min hike from the parking area of Peanut Gallery. Hike past the powerline tower (stay to the right of it). You will see a faint trail that leads down to the area.

Anyone ever send the (.11+? TR) project I briefly started on the steeper wall to the left of Dike Hike? I gave it a good shot on TR back in 2010 but never got back to do the, mandatory, cleaning it needed to send it on lead (or TR). Noted it in the guide book as a project, hoping someone would be motivated to clean, put in a couple bolts, and lead it. Would be a nice addition to this little wall/slab. Has anyone got on it yet? These climbs offer outstanding friction climbing in a secluded setting. Many fun variations near the anchors of Black Streak (from which you can TR all the Black Streak routes). These routes would be first-rate if they weren't so dangerous to lead. Serious fall potential. The first bolts are very high. Aug 10, 2015
