Description

Zaftig is a small boulder with an overhanging southeast face. The rock quality is slightly sandy and friable, especially down low on the boulder. Nonetheless, there are areas of good rock where it counts, and the landings are clear and level.

Getting There

This is located in the Mecca area. From the parking area, head downhill, cross East Creek, make a left at the dirt track, veer left shortly before the Birdhouse Boulder, and you'll find it along the crest of the hillside overlooking the beaver pond below.
