Description Suggest change

Beach crag with athletic routes. The beach, itself, is a very popular place. As far as friendliness to climbers, the populace is very interested in watching us. They hang out right at the base of the wall, but can be expected to gladly move to give you a route. A lot of the rock is smooth and polished. Mostly overhanging, possibly a 45 degree angle in some places. There are some old, rusty bolts in some places...ocean.

Getting There Suggest change

From the exit for Taormina on the autostrada, northbound, look for the sign that takes you to the SS114. The sign also says "MARE". Take a left on the coastal road, watch for a set of stairs on the right. Good shoulders on both sides of the road for parking. Take the stairs down, walk through the tunnel, take a right on the beach.
