Description

Granite cliffs and boulders in the middle of "lomas" ecosystems. Stay on trails to reduce impact on the sensitive vegetation, even during the dry season.

Be mindful of the state of bolts and hangers since the coastal air accelerates corrosion, back up anchors if you have any doubt at all.

Getting There

Head south from Lima, down the Panamerican Highway. Take the exit to the town of Lurin (Old Panamerican Highway). Follow the road southbound and turn left on Manuel Valle Ave. Follow East until crossing the Lurin river. The area immediately after the bridge is Quebrada Verde (Lomas de Lucumo), a right turn takes you to Guayabo.
