Description

This is the second area you come to on High Eagle dome when hiking from Friend Rock Camp.

This side of the dome gets late morning/noon shade and some of the routes tend to have a more Lichen. This is a great place to climb while waiting for the main wall to go into the shade. Routes here are long and require doing a rappel on the way down.

The shape shifter area primarily has sport routes, but a few mixed routes do exist.

Getting There

Follow the main trail until you reach a set of roofs. The biggest roof is on the left side of the wall. Gravity Pool, 5.12b, starts on the arete below this roof.
