DescriptionThe Commonwealth is a popular, new traditional area which offers a very high density of high-quality moderate climbs ranging in length from 15-30m. The approach is short and well developed, protection tends to be plentiful, all anchors are bolted with chains, and the rock has been cleaned immaculately. The crag faces south-east and is heavily shaded, making it very pleasant on hot summer afternoons.
More information and full topos are available at http://www.quickdrawpublications.com/Free%20Downloads/Murrin%20Park%20-%20Commonwealth.pdf
Getting ThereFrom the murrin parking lot, walk along the shore of the lake until you re-enter the forest. Keep an eye out for a large boulder on your left and a trail will appear on your right (same as for pet wall). Hike up, then down for about a minute and take the first obvious right (flagged with orange markers). Two more minutes and you're there.
