coordinate protection of a peregrine falcon nest located on the climbing wall.
Climbing at Substation, Write-Off Rock, Nevermind Wall, We Did Rock, and Hull
Creek Rock are unaffected by the closure and remain open.

Description
Deception Wall lies just south of the Iron Horse trail. It is likely named Deception because it is the biggest, most obvious crag at 38 from the highway. It is the tallest wall at the Deception area, ~200-300ft, and sports a one or two of the few "multipitch" routes at E38. A lot of the wall is wildly overhanging, covered in loose blocks, or have inaccessible belay stations under the IHT trestle, so a lot of it hasn't been bolted. What's there is some nice, varied climbing, including two of Exit 38's rare 5.13s. Some of the routes can be belayed from the trail while others begin on ledges a little ways up. Some of the routes end under roofs that drip after rain.
