Description Suggest change

Cima della Busazza lies north of Torre Triese, with only Castello della Busazza between the summits. The Castello is a small summit that technically may be considered as a fore-structure of Cima della Busazza. The W. face of the Cima and SW Arete both possess significant, and very long climbs available for the "hard man." The SW Arete Route by R. Videsott, L. Rittler, and D. Rudatis (UIAA Gr. V, with a section of Gr.VI), is a 1000 meter climb (3,300 feet). Correspondingly huge is the W. Face Route, which rivals the NW Face of Monte Civetta in size and difficulty. The Gilberti-Castiglioni Route: (UIAA Gr. VI-), 1000 meters (3,300 feet) is a very serious climb; the 1931 first ascent route went unrepeated until 1957. The Videsott-Rittler-Rudatis Route has gained some popularity in recent times, but it too is a major undertaking requiring around 10 hours for a competent party.
