Description
Punta Civetta marks the Northern terminus of the central Massif, or Haupt Kamm.
The mountain is home to several fine free climbing routes, best known of which is the Andrich -Fae (UIAA Gr. VI-,A-0; done entirely free at UIAA Gr. VII-). Another widely acclaimed free climbing route is the Asti-Sussati (UIAA Gr. VI-, A-1, or entirely free at UIAA GR. VII-). Both lines are true "Direttissimas," with straight-as-arrows lines to the summit ridge.
