Description

One of the most popular sectors and the 2nd closest to the road, Roure has 28 routes (only 2 of which require some gear) ranging from 4c to 7b+ (mostly in the 6 and 7- range) on beautiful orange and gray limestone. The routes tend to be pretty vertical and sustained, but bulges, small roofs and nice cracks provide some variety. Due to Roure's popularity, some of the routes can be quite polished. Like the rest of Antenes, Roure is essentially south facing and in the sun most of the day.

Getting There

Take a trail the leaves the north side of the parking lot toward the cliff. After crossing a faint brook, take a slight left continuing in the direction of the cliff. The first small sector you will encounter is Tot Grau, and Roure is the larger one just to the left. There is a boulder laying against the cliff on the right side of the sector. It should not take more than 5 min to get there.
