Description

Known for the place where the Heroes from Telemark stopped the Nazis from building an atomic bomb, Rjukan is quickly becoming a place where ice climbers flock to ascend countless frozen waterfalls minutes from town. With more than 150 waterfalls Rjukan is definitely the mecca of ice climbing! Think Ouray, Colorado, but better and all natural! Skiing at Gaustablikk resort or in the back country provides a great rest day activity. Rjukan is an up and coming climbing destination that shouldn´t be missed!
