Description
BFD Rock is a short crag on the west side of and right on the road that cuts through the Twin Sisters area.
A number of short, half pitch routes can be found here.
Grade ranges from scrambles to the imposing route, The Smell, a steep, improbable line on the formations NW aspect. The Smell apparently named for an unpleasant outhouse at the base which is now gone.
Take care not to disturb the residents of the very nearby campsites.
Getting There
The rock formation closest to campsites #3 and 4 at the Twin Sisters is BFD Rock.
Rock closest to the road on the west side of the apex of the road that cuts through the Twin Sisters area.
Across the road from the Indian Chief rock formation (where the large group site is on the Indian Chief's east side).
