Access Issue: Road and Raptor Closures Details

Per Ross Andrea: Ramparts Range Road is closed December 1.

March 1st-July 31st: Devil's Head Rock, Sin City, & Recovery Wall are closed for raptor protection. The vast majority of the other crags are unaffected by the closure. Please visit:

Description

The Monument is home to the classic Fire on the Mountain, a not to be missed 3 pitch 5.10. There are also a few other routes here and probably potential for more....

Getting There

Follow the directions/trail to Chicken Head Ranch. When the trail reaches Chicken Head Ranch and the high-point of the trail, look to your left and you will see the arete of Fire on the Mountain. Drop down the gully a little and keep left. Hop up a short step at a cairn and wander up to the base.
