Access Issue: Access via Garland Prairie Closed- Use Woody Mountain Road Details

9/24/2025 There is a road dispute happening on the standard Garland Prairie route to the canyon. NAZCC is working with the Forest Service to resolve it. Until then, you’ll need to take the long way around Via Woody Mountain Road. The beta for Woody Mountain Road is in the Getting There section below.

Description

This is a grouping of wild and untamed routes first done in the 1970's. When viewed from across canyon, this complex of eye catching splitter crack lines juts out from the surrounding walls. Most of these lines are clean enough, but not all of the obvious lines are listed here.
