Description Suggest change

The First Advisor is the Northern-most rock of the Three Advisors which sit just South of the Fern Canyon trail not too far above the Superfresh Block, perhaps 100 meters or a little more. The rock is perhaps about 70 meters tall. The single documented line on this infrequently climbed rock is the East Face.

The climb on this East Face is solid and neither great nor poor. It is worth ticking off your list of climbs to do.

Getting There Suggest change

Go up from the Cragmoor Trailhead up to the Ferm Canyon Trail and pass the Superfresh Block, high in the canyon. Continue up, watching ot the left for where the northern-most toe of a large, rounded slab comes almost down to the trail, with a refrigerator-sized boulder just behind the base. This is the Northeast edge of the First Advisor.
