The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
This prominent, yet seldom climbed formation, stands tall at the head of a steep gully facing west and is home to a half-dozen or so lengthy single-pitch routes with Spy Eye (5.10a), Spy vs. Spy (5.11c) and Mike and Tom's Excellent Adventure (5.11d R) being among the best.
Getting There
Located slightly northwest and uphil from the Cirque of the Climbables ; approach as for those routes but continue uphill to the prominent steep formation at the top of the gully.
- Plan on 45-60 minutes hiking time from the parking area.
