Warning Access Issue: Seasonal Raptor Closures ***** RAIN AND WET ROCK ***** The sandstone in Zion is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB IN ZION during or after rain. A good rule of thumb is that if the ground near your climb is at all damp (and not powdery dry sand), then do not climb. There are many alternatives (limestone, granite, basalt, and plastic) nearby. Description Suggest change

This is an area of fairly recent development consisting of a couple dozen routes, some single, some multi-pitch. As is typical in Zion, bring webbing to backup rappels.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the second to last pullout and access the approach trail at the south end of the pullout.

As you walk down into a bouldery wash, cross it directly and follow the worn trail left and downhill for a short bit before turning right and up a steep wash that will aim you at the 2nd tunnel window. At the top, turn left and follow the trail.
