Description

Cook's Fin represents the westernmost part of Cooks Wall. It received its name because looking at it from a distance, it gives the appearance of a rocky dorsal fin silhouetted along the back sloping west end of Cooks Wall. The routes are good and it's one of the largest concentrations of climbs at Cooks but the rock quality does suffer some being that the cliff breakdown begins here.

Anyone ever climb "Rubber Cookie" between Pepper Shaker and Fortune Cookie? It has a single (el cheapo) bolt? I always thought it was fun. Dec 3, 2017
Yes Nathan, Seth and I have climbed it several times. It is a fun route. Dec 10, 2017

Hey Nathan, the bolt has been replaced and that is one really nice trad line! It needs to be listed along with several others so I will try to do that soon. Dec 10, 2017

Thanks guys for the update. It's been a long time for me and I was curious where it fit in with everything else. Glad to hear that wall is getting so much attention nowadays. Dec 11, 2017
