DescriptionLocated some 100 miles (160 kms) south of mainland Britain, Jersey is the most southerly island of the British Isles. In fact, it's much closer to France, lying just 14 miles (22 kms) from its coast.
Despite its compact size - just 9 miles by 5 miles (14 kms by 8 kms) Jersey possesses a rich and varied landscape which sends visitors into sensory overload.
Climbing on the Island is all Trad and centered on the sea cliffs on the North West tip of the Island, with smaller crags located on the South and North coasts. The majority of climbs are on Granite, although a small area of Gabbro on the North Coast provides some variety.
