Description
This area includes the routes found in the Lower Devils Canyon area immediately adjacent to the road.
Getting There
Driving directions/parking: Follow driving directions from main Lower Devil's Canyon page. With high clearance 4wd you can park at the end of the road (the ant hill). This is also a popular primitive camping spot, as evidenced by the increasing number of fire pits. Without high clearance 4wd, park off the road as far as you are comfortable driving and hike the rest of the way in. The last segment of the road between the Hackberry parking pullout (just past the windmill) and the ant hill is by far the roughest of the entire drive in.
Approach: Routes can be found on the north side of the road before (west) and around (north and south) of the parking area.
