A short straight-forward climb up the west face with plenty of feet and hand holds. This rock formation is a good place for beginners to play on - it's a short approach from the saddle parking area and the west face of this rock formation can be set up with a couple of top ropes for 5.4-5.5 range climbs.

Five Jive is the climb on the south face to the left of Amilosaurus (5.8). Both climbs share the same anchors.

Climb past two bolts to a two-shut anchor. The first bolt is possibly a bit high for a beginner lead climber but there are also many options for trad protection along the entire route.

Anchor has two old cold shuts (still good shape) and one newer bolt for an anchor. 2 cold shuts for pro spaced fairly far apart (~15 ft runout), may be heady for a beginner lead but the climbing is easy. I'm sure you could find some gear placements but I didn't really look to be honest.

I took my family here today for their first time climbing outdoors and they loved it. Dec 27, 2015
