Eddy W and I stumbled upon this amazing chunk of rock early in the day when we used to hike to Burma from the south shore. It only took us a couple of times doing that moronic hike until we realized that the road may be closer, and it was by about a half an hour! Eric should be credited with developing the pillar though and as usual he made sure to send all the classics before telling anyone! sneaky bastard. Oct 9, 2008

GPS was reported to me as 43.410192, -89.737647

On my map this doesn't appear to be quite right... ??? Apr 25, 2017
Used a GPS watch and it was 0.73 miles from parking lot corner to cairn. When you get to the cairn walk into the woods at 200 degrees (S-SW) and you will be on top of amazing pillar. Jan 27, 2018
