Description Suggest change

This peak is a sub-summit of Silver Star, east of the main summit. It's south face features clean white granite and many climbable features. Rarely climbed, it offers nice rock in a fun position, with no crowds or other signs of people so ubiquitous to Washington Pass. It forms a major obstacle and high point if climbing the complete East Ridge of Silver Star.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike up the Cedar Creek Trail for ~5 miles, and turn off and right below the recent forest fire burn. A rough trail follows the right side of the creek which drains the south side of the Silver Horn. Beautiful meadows for camping exist at 6,200'
