I'd add 1 star to the routes just for the view. Apr 14, 2008
We visited the Windy Wall two days ago. Two hours of sunlight this time of year.

This is a nice crag, with good rock and a terrific view of the Sierra, but stuck in a 1970 time warp. I'd like to see it brought up to date as a modern sport crag. Specifically:

replace the 1/4 inch bolts
add sport anchors placed where one can lower off smoothly, not at the far back of a ledge
retrobolt some of the x rated 5.7 routes (yes, I have led them in that state)

I'd be happy to assist in this project. Dec 24, 2016
