Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

The Area

This west facing rock is found along the Wonderland Valley Trail. At last check it had six recorded routes on it. Rock quality is fair to good. Descent from the top is via a 2 bolt anchor near the top of Rock Star or by downclimbing the route 39 Steps (5.4) on the south face.
