Description Suggest change

This 40' sandstone rock sits just west of Indian Rock, and shares many of its characteristics. There's both sport and trad, with top-rope potential as well.

Baby Fat is definitely the best route on the formation, but there are a couple other worthwhile routes as well that can climbed when Indian Rock is crowded with groups on the weekends.

Consider bringing bug spray or some kind of zen that has the same effect.

Getting There Suggest change

From the free parking outside of Castle Rock State Park, go across the street and into the parking lot for Sanborn County Park. There you'll see a wooden sign instructing you to go straight 0.1 miles to Indian Rock. The actual trail goes sort of straight and left. The Globule is directly behind Indian Rock as you approach, and you can get there by walking around either side of Indian Rock.
