The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Grinch rock has two routes with one star each that are worth doing (The Grinch's Grin 5.10d * and a 5.9*) and a 5.9+ route that should get one star. The rock is good brown varnish.
