I have been climbing off and on since about 1995. I really love getting out into more remote areas, unfortunately the options are getting more limited year after year. Rock climbing is what I was exposed to first, so most of my experience lies in that area. I have also done some snow and alpine-style climbing.

I grew up in St. Louis, MO so a lot of my rock climbing experience is in southern IL. Jackson Falls is a great place. I live in Denver now and try to get out and climb whenever I get the chance. Outside of Colorado and IL, I have been climbing in the Tetons, Joe's Valley, J-Tree, Red Rock and Leavenworth. My mountaineering experience is mostly in the Cascades and Coast Mountains.
