Lithium

Lithium has 5 pitches of stellar steep slab up to 5.10. Follow the glassy, blank looking face up the center of the Citadel's south face. The geology looks like an exposed slip fault given the uniformity and wear on the rock. This has excellent rock quality with distinct crux movements on most pitches. There are large belay ledges at the end of each pitch. Most pitches also link with the addition of thoughtfully placed slings. It is recommended to link pitches 2 and 3 for a mega-pitch of the best climbing on route.

P1: 5.6, 60 feet. Low angle, lumpy bolted slab finishing on large ledge with anchors climber's right.

P2: 5.9+, 100 feet. Start on bolt line 10 feet climber's left of the anchor. Finish at a large ledge beneath a roof.

P3: 5.10-, 80 feet. Climb the arete climber's right of the belay. Make a harder move, and traverse left above the overhang lip (crux). Mantel into the wide dihedral, and finish at a large ledge.

P4: 5.9, 120 feet. Pull the small overhang off the ledge. Traverse up and right. Continue up a small wedge, then follow bolts onto the climber's left arete. Finish at a large ledge with an anchor.

P5: 5.9, 80 feet. Climb the bolted slab straight up to the summit anchor.

Descent: rap the route with a 70m rope.

Start in an alcove below the south face of the Citadel. Look for the long, continuous, steep, bolted slab starting on pitch 2. Pitch 1 is lumpier, low angle slab. Climber's left of the pitch 1 slab is Trump Tower.
