Description Suggest change

Starting on the right edge of the gully make your way up blocky, easier terrain taking the line of least resistance. Eventually you will move out further right onto the face slabs where you will encounter the routes crux at approximatley 90ft, a steep bulge requiring a committing mantle move to regain the slab above. From here head up and right to regain the rib. from here the difficulties subside and you follow the main rib as much as possible on easier angled slops all the way until the gradient flattens below the summit of Sgùrr an Fheadain.

Continuing on to the true summit is recommeded but not a continuation of this route. Bring a rope and harness as there is a rappel from the summit if continuing along the Cullin Ridge towards the descent route of Bruach na Frithe's north west ridge (3rd Class) which leads back to the Fairy Pool parking Lot.

Location Suggest change

Park at the Fairy Pools parking lot and follow the Fairy pool trail to the end, then head toward the centre of the huge buttress at the end of the coire. The route starts on the right edge of the central gully (not the widest gully further right).
