Description Suggest change

Sit start just right of the hollow black birch tree, left hand in the seam/crack, if you are not tall enough to get both hands on it like me, right hand pawing a slopey patch below it. There is a vertical smear for the left foot right next to the tree, not much else, so I just use it and smear my right toe and put my right knee against the wall to stabilize when pulling on and get my right hand up into the crack.

Hand traverse the crack as far as you can go, about 4-5 feet, with smears for your feet until you can get over to the big triangular hold down low near the ground for your foot. Walk your feet up setting yourself up for a throw up and right to a good edge just below the summit and top out the arete.

Warning; do to the poor feet while traversing. the crack can be pretty finger intensive. Fine tuning the beta really helps with that as sometimes the less obvious holds  are a lot more comfortable.

Location Suggest change

The uphill side of the boulder. The obvious angling finger crack. Starts right next to the hollow tree.
