Description Suggest change

The Midnight Lightning of El Chalten. This classic Potter boulder sees far more attempts than sends, but there’s no doubt that it’s one to try, no matter your skill level.

Begin standing, with a left hand jug crimp around head height and a right hand pinch on the faint arete (although a V10 sds does exist). Move into a series of pockets, then find whatever way works for you to gain the high sloper feature. Get set up on precarious holds and throw for the lip, which is a jug.

As close to perfection as a problem can get.

Location Suggest change

On the west (uphill) side of the block, climbing the obvious 20° overhang.

Protection Suggest change

Pads and perhaps a spot for the committing finale
