Description
Summit or bust!
Pitch 1. 5.10 d Locate the start of umbilicus. A small 10' tall slab is the start of both umbilicus and pulsifer. After The slab trend left for two or three bolts up into a small right-facing corner, (small gear placements). Mount the top of this pedestal/ corner and head into the good stuff. Really nice rock with fishers and quartz runnels Up to a small roof (Crux) pull the technical roof to a stance, then traverse left through some steep corner climbing to a 2-bolt belay.
Pitch 2. 5.7 Startup into some Finger size cracks (usually choked up with blueberry bushes) then work your way up through some clean slabs with the occasional bolt along the way to a a big ledge system with a double chain anchor. This is the second to last repel from the top on your way back down.
Pitch 3. 9+ Straight up above the belay through a nice wide open face to where it starts to steepen and traverses left through an overlapping roof system. Establish a belay off of a tree to bring the second up up then advance the belay to the tree gully for the next pitch.
Pitch 4. 5.9 Good friction climbing with interesting Rock up to a steepening corner system to a final traverse out left to a tree belay.
Pitch 5. 10a. Steep climbing through cracks and quartz chunks get you over the lip to a run out slab to the trees.
Best to walk off the cliff to the right and work your way down the slashing gully system back to the 2 bolt belay repel station that is tucked around the corner from the top out of pitch 3.
