Description
The route has bolts in between solid gear placements. McCormick found it harder than expected and said the climbing is super fun. The climbing involves a series of left-hand slaps up a shallow corner with right-hand face holds out on the face.
During the process, McCormick decided to slightly lower one of the bolts to create better flow and to eliminate a previously unnecessary scary clip.
The crux is the move into the final finger crack: a delicate, barn-doory right-hand crossover into an “imaginary” thumbs-down hand jam that is dynamically loaded before matching in and pulling into a layback.
