Description
Viper Crack start is appx. 10 feet to the right of Paceline. The route has a total of seven bolts: five at the start of the route and two towards the top. The first bolt is easily reached if you're tall.
Pull over the initial roof on a good hand jam and a jug just above. The edges above are great and the crack itself takes a wide variety of bomber stoppers. I didn't place any cam larger than a .75. I found double blue and black Totems to be useful. Single .5 and .75 seemed fine, but mostly small to medium stoppers worked best.
When the initial crack ends, look up and right for two bolts that lead to the final easier crack climbing.
Lots of lichen on this route, so it would be nice to see it get more traffic.
