Description
One of two via ferratas on Spielmäuer, this via ferrata starts with an easy, leftwards traverse (A/B) and then continues straight up a left facing dihedral (C). The route steepens a and continues right into a more exposed traverse (B). After turning the corner you can see the Kirchbogen, a big rock arch. The roiute continues through the arch (B/C) and then on easier terrain to the top.
Location
There is a small designated parking lot for the via ferratas, climbing, and hiking located in the town Wegscheid at 47.684, 15.3238; however latecomers may need to park on the side of the road. Next to the parking lot, there is a sign with topos for most of the climbs. Continue past the sign on the marked path up to the start of "Olivers Mariazeller Steig" and then a bit further to the right (~50 minutes).
To descend, continue climbers left down the ridge line and eventually circling partly around the north side of the mountain. A short detour to look at the "Teufelsbrücke" is recommended.
