Description Suggest change

Fun, three pitch route that is mostly bolted.

P1 - 5.8 - This pitch starts with a small piece (0.5?) or a boulder spot to get past a 5.7 move to your first bolt. Then clip and go.

Traverse - at top of P1, slide right about 20 or 30 feet to a second belay anchor.

P2 - 5.6/5.7 - Just follow the bolts. The top has a move that some may consider 5.7. Mostly easy cruising. Pick up the rope and move up across the huge ledge to the base of P3.

P3 - 5.9- This pitch starts with a 0.4 in the hand crack at the start and then follows bolts to the top of the route. The first bolt is a little high if you don't have a cam, but the move is probably 5.7.

For the descent, you can either walk off, rap the route, or head left and left to do the last pitch on Motorboating or up and right to do Tisha.

This is a good alternative if you find parties above you when you go to do Motorboating.

Location Suggest change

This is on the far right side of the Calamari Traverse. As you hike the Jim Thompson trail, look up the wall to try and spot the cluster of trees above P2. The route follows a left-facing corner. There's a drainage that works its way directly to the base. Scramble up a couple 3rd class steps/boulders to get to the base of P1. Alternatively, you can do the Calamari Traverse (just a spicy walk) and you'll land at the big ledge above P2.

Protection Suggest change

Draws and a couple of small pieces - maybe 0.4 to 0.75.
