Description
Werewolf is a direct, and superior start to Wolfenstein, or a great single pitch in its own right. Great climbing with a distinct, fun crux.
Begin directly below the unmistakable arching maw of Wolfenstein's second pitch at a left-facing corner formed by a small buttress at the base of the wall (Wolfenstein's normal first pitch begins off to the right of this small buttress).
Kick things off by climbing past a bolt to hand jams in the corner (gear with runners) then traverse leftwards and follow bolts up the steepening wall above. A long, but very easy, runout to the anchor can be tamed with a finger-sized cam (0.4 Camalot or so).
80m rope allows for convenient rappel/lower.
