Description Suggest change

The climb is a classic in the area, usually freezing into thick rambling WI2 ice with lots of variation pitches at harder grades. A good way to start the season when the arms are noodles and the overhead avalanche conditions are still low, several big faces slide into the main fall, stable conditions are advisable.

Location Suggest change

Drive to the Twin falls rec site road, road is closed in the winter adding 2km walk for a total of 4km easy walking into the basin. Skis could be used if the snow is deeper.

Protection Suggest change

ice screws, V-threads, bolts maybe found on climbers right rocks from the rock climbing route.
