Description Suggest change

Excellent rock with many fun moves. One of my favorites at the Menagerie.

P1 (5.9+): Begin from large tree, climbs slab to left of of rotten groove straight up to ledge. From ledge ascends the arete crack until forced left under an over-hang-traverse left to 2-bolt belay ledge.

P2 (5.10c): Straight up 30 ft (5 bolts) to left side the arete, good stance at last bolt. Traverse right around arete and up groove to mossy ramp and single bolt belay.

P3 (5.9): Scramble up & right through roof following path of least resistance to top of South summit and 2-belay bolts.

Descent: Walk off over the bridge and scramble down to uphill saddle.

Location Suggest change

Begins at base of large tree at the uphill-west corner of the south leg of the bridge. Refer: Rock Climbing Western Oregon Vol. 1 The Willamette. 2006. Map 16 pp. 212, and Topo M pp. 213.

Protection Suggest change

Bolts, nuts & small to medium size cams.
