Description Suggest change

An area classic and a great outing with an alpine feel.

A Scottish Tale climbs a corner system through easy easy mixed terrain, over an iconic chockstone into thin ice smears and eventually fat ice up high.

There are 9 pitches or so in total, but the reality is that you will likely spend a fair bit of time soloing the lower half depending on conditions as pro is sparse or nonexistent and the only options for anchors at times are not ideal.

The upper half generally has great ice, and is often done as an outing unto itself by rappelling in from the Panorama trail down to where the good ice ends.

Standard rack for ice, some rock gear if you can find spots for it down low.
