Start at thr Kraft mountain parking and head towards El Hijo. scramble up the sandstone slabs and hike up the steep dirt to the next sandstone cliff band. You can bypass the class 4/5 by going all the way to the left. If not continue and you will see white dry falls and a large crack type feature to the left. Take this it felt class 4 up until one exposed move to the top the stone is kinda sandy but nothing bad. From the top of the Gulley chose your own adventure up the chossy limestone labyrinth till you reach the ridge. From here it's a surprisingly nice scramble on the east ridge to the summit of El Hijo enjoy the views great rest day activity  total miles 2 gain 1100
