Description
A technical testpiece and considerably more difficult than the original grade 12a. I don’t think this has seen many ascents, but it deserves more attention.
The route attracts giant spider webs, so you might want to rap over (or stick clip up) to clean them off. Also, the route gets hot, so a cooler/overcast day is best.
Stick clip! Move up to the corner, then make a hard sequence (crux #1) to get established in the corner proper. Fun moves up the corner to a small roof. Go around this on the left (crux #2), then up an open book to where the holds disappear. Move up this open book (crux #3) to better holds and an anchor over a bulge.
Location
About 20’ left of Dope-a-Mean, below a left-facing corner than begins at head height. This is about 10’ right of the arête than marks the left edge of this right-facing wall.
