Description Suggest change

Start on the well defined jug feature on the left side of the slab at ~ waist height, just to the left of the small pine tree. Work your way right and up the face. Use a few crimps and a sloping, right-facing, left handed crimp-sloper before reaching for the left handed topout, just to the left of the bulbous feature on the top. Smear feet all the way up.

Stay off the sloping edge on the left side of the boulder for this harder variation.

This is a slab route with poor foot holds - you'll likely slide down belly first if you don't make it – be prepared!

*Be mindful of your feet and the lichen on this boulder. Please do not scrub or unnecessarily smear lichen off the face.*

Location Suggest change

To get to the boulder: follow Vasquez Road up from Winter Park / the water station until you reach the fork for FS 159/725 (Leland Creek Rd.). You'll see a pullout/parking on your left just after an open former camping area. It's good to park here as FW 159/725 is somewhat narrow – don't block the road! Take the fork to the right up FS 159/725 for about 350 feet. The boulder can be seen from the road on your right.
