Description Suggest change

There are two boulders close to here - one is just off the road with a flaring crack, one is up the hill a few minutes. Per B M: there are a number of established boulders on Vasquez Road with generally easy access from the road, and there are more lines waiting to be discovered in these woods!

Getting There Suggest change

Park in the big lot at the water sanitation facility about 1 mile from where the dirt starts on Vasquez Road in Winter Park. Cross the road, and go up the hill. The boulder is about 100 yards from the parking lot. There is a west-ish facing wave-like overhang to identify this boulder.

Per B M: to reach the upper boulder, you can also park at the turnout 0.27 miles below the sanitation facility & take the Leap Frog Trail up to the boulder, but watch out for bikes!

Water Station Boulders:
Park in the big lot at the water sanitation facility about 1 mile from where the dirt starts on Vasquez Road in Winter Park. Cross the road, and go up the hill. The boulder is about 100 yards from the parking lot. There is a west-ish-facing, wave-like overhang to identify this boulder.

Jellyfish Boulder:
Generally speaking, it is 1/2 way back to Winter Park from the Sanitation Station on the left side of the road. It can be seen from the road.

Pinball Boulder:
To find this block, go up Vasquez Road, take a right on 159, and just before you get to the top of the hill where D4 is on your right, there is an unmarked singletrack trail on your left called Pinball. Take this trail for about ten minutes, and you'll find the boulder. There is a corridor on the east-ish side of the boulder where the problem 'Murmurs' awaits.

Go up Vasquez Road, and take a right at CR 159. Just before the top of the hill where D4 is on your right, there is a single track trail on the left. Per B M: this trail is called Pin Ball. In recent months, somebody has covered the start of the trail, so it is not obvious from the road. Go up this trail for about ten minutes to find the Pinball Boulder. Per B M: this is just before the clear cut area.
