Description Suggest change

Trolls at the Gate takes on the tallest section of the north face of Hidden Fortress, making a direct line to its summit.  Well protected and with great position, the climbing is mostly on jugs, with good rests, but there’s enough bouldery and techy stuff to keep it interesting for the 5.11 climber.  (1) Climb a gently overhanging face protected by 12 bolts to a great ledge and bolt anchors (95’).  (2) Continue up the prow above, past two bulges protected by 3 bolts, to the top and chains (45’).

Location Suggest change

Line of tan bolt anchors just right of the Taylor-Contor route.  To descend, rap the route: the first rap is short, but the second (from Metolius rap hangers) is a full 30 meters long and largely free-hanging.
