Description Suggest change

Fantastic and long crack climb and classic test piece for local trad climbers. While most people climb the single pitch its possible to climb two more pitches to summit the needle.

Climb follows an obvious wide crack (fists), most people layback the crux where the crack widens to and offwidth, its possible to burl your way up it but it seems significantly more difficult than laybacking. Last section follows two beautiful parallel handcacks. Bolted anchors to the right

Location Suggest change

Wide crack in the middle (not the offwidth to the left though)

Protection Suggest change

Lots of big cams, double or even triple up on #3s & #4s. Possible to use medium cams in upper area (one crack takes mediums the other still takes large cams up there)
