Description Suggest change

Pitch 1 (6a) goes straight up the face and onto a broad ledge.  The anchor is shared with another climb... go right for pitch 2.

Pitch 2 (5c) Goes up to a ledge and then traverses quite a bit to the right to get to the anchor, which is shared with another climb.  Keep going right for pitch 3.

Pitch 3 (5c) goes right and then up... below the anchor, it goes left a little.

Pitch 4 (5c) meanders up a face and then goes left to the anchor... there is another climb that goes right... stay to the left to stay on route.

Pitch 5 (6b or 5c if you pull on gear) is a burly somewhat overhanging face climb to the summit.

Overall, a nice climb, and quite popular, since it is the easiest climb on this formation.

Location Suggest change

Tichodrome is in the right-most formation of Dorenaz.  Park near the signpost for Champex d'Alesse and follow the trail up several switchbacks.  You will see the Tichodrome formation to your left... scramble across to it.  The climb is clearly painted on the rock.
